You've probably all heard about how wonderful Orlando, Florida is for having a great time at the parks, meeting Mickey, Shamu and Spiderman and so on. Also how great the shopping is, especially for us Brits! Then there's the golf - so many courses and so little time! ITS ALL TRUE!!
We Newhams first visited Orlando in 1997. dragging a somewhat reluctant Dad/Husband along who was only going "for the kids"!! Within three days he was talking about " when we come next year".......... and we've been back every year since!
Last year we took the plunge and bought a home on the great resort of High Grove and suddenly we were the proud owners of a huge 4-bedroomed white-stuccoed villa with its own pool and spa! FANTASTIC! We've made loads of new friends from fellow owners and improved our social life into the bargain too!
We want to share with you all the other delights that Florida can offer as well as Disney and Universal and the absolutely fabulous Seaworld!.

We havent managed to do everything ourselves yet i must add, but we intend to! (However no-one is getting me on that 300ft SkyCoaster on the US192-whatever the circumstances!! - EVER!)
So onto the stuff we havent tried yet - helicopter rides, a trip to the oldest City in Florida - St Augustine located some distance to the North-east, pleasure flight in a light aircraft, an early morning balloon ride, a trip on a huge airboat on the Everglades, new-improved Cypress Gardens and my much desired trip to the Keys. We'll do it one day!
